Refund policy

30-Day Return Window

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your fragrance must be:

  • Unopened and unused, with the original cellophane/shrink wrap intact
  • In its original packaging, including box, cap, and any protective inserts
  • Accompanied by your receipt or proof of purchase

Opened, used, or de-sealed bottles are not eligible for return. This is standard practice across the fragrance industry, based on hygiene and product-integrity standards — it is not unique to Perfumewear.

To start a return, contact us at support@perfumewear.com with your order number. Once approved, we'll provide return instructions and a shipping label where applicable. Items shipped back without an approved return request will not be accepted.


Wrong, Damaged, or Defective Items

If your order arrives incorrect, damaged, or defective:

  1. Email support@perfumewear.com within 48 hours of delivery
  2. Include clear photos of the item and packaging
  3. We'll provide a prepaid return label at no cost to you
  4. Once your return is in transit (tracking confirmed), we'll ship your replacement immediately

We are not able to process damage claims reported after this window, so please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.


Non-Returnable Items

The following cannot be returned:

  • Opened, used, or de-sealed fragrances
  • Sale, clearance, or final-sale items (including items received with free shipping)
  • Gift cards
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases
  • Orders placed through third-party marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Mercari, etc.) — these are governed by that marketplace's own return policy, not this page. Please initiate those returns directly through the platform you ordered from.

If you're unsure whether your item qualifies, email us before shipping anything back — we're happy to check.


Return Shipping Costs

  • Defective, damaged, or wrong item: We cover return shipping in full. A prepaid label will be emailed to you.
  • Change of mind (unopened items only): A prepaid label is available on request, with $6.95 deducted from your refund to cover the label cost. Alternatively, you may ship the item back at your own expense using a trackable carrier.

We recommend using a trackable shipping method for all returns. Perfumewear is not responsible for return packages that are lost or not received.


Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll email you to confirm whether the refund has been approved. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days of inspection. Please allow additional time for your bank or card issuer to post the refund.

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable, except when the return is due to our error.
  • If your order shipped with a free-shipping promotion, the standard shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.

Exchanges

We don't currently offer direct exchanges. The fastest way to get the item you want is to return your original item for a refund, then place a new order separately.


Restocking Fee

There is no restocking fee on eligible returns (unopened items in original condition). Items that don't meet the eligibility criteria above will not be accepted for return or refund.
